The ottoman storage bed offers generous space beneath the entire mattress area – approximately 0.8 cubic metres for a double size. That's enough for multiple duvets, pillows, seasonal clothing and shoes, all kept dust-free and easily accessible via the smooth gas-lift mechanism.

What is a nest bed frame and how is it different from a regular bed?A nest bed frame features an extra-tall winged headboard (137cm) that creates a cosy, enveloping feel like being nestled in a comfortable nest. Unlike standard beds, the tall upholstered design provides proper back support for reading in bed and adds luxurious boutique hotel style to your bedroom.

Is the button-tufted upholstery durable and easy to clean?
Yes, the deep button tufting and plush velvet fabric are built for everyday use. Regular vacuuming keeps it fresh, and any marks can be gently blotted with a damp cloth and mild fabric cleaner. The tufted design actually hides minor wear better than flat upholstery.

Will this ottoman storage bed fit in my bedroom?
We offer five UK bed sizes from Single (113cm wide) to Super King (204cm wide). Allow at least 60cm clearance on each side for movement and approximately 50cm behind the headboard for the ottoman to lift open. Check our dimension guide for exact measurements.

Does the Comfy Nest bed require assembly and how is it delivered?
The bed arrives flat-packed and requires self-assembly (1-2 hours for two people). Full instructions and fixtures are included. The upholstered panels come pre-assembled – you'll mainly attach the headboard, footboard and base sections together.

Absolutely. The Comfy Nest works with all UK mattress types including memory foam, pocket sprung, hybrid and orthopaedic. The slatted base provides proper support and ventilation. We recommend mattresses up to 30cm deep for optimal proportions.
